At MACBOR, we’ve always believed that true passion is meant to be shared.
Today, we’re beyond excited to announce a massive new chapter in our journey together.
MACBOR is officially entering the Dakar Rally 2027 with our own motorcycle team.
And we couldn’t do it with anyone else: we’re joining forces again with rally raid legend Gerard Farrés, who is making his long-awaited return to two wheels for the first time since 2018. After years of riding together with Gerard in the SSV category, stepping into the motorcycle class with our own factory team feels like a dream come true.
The Road to Dakar Starts in Morocco: 1000 Dunas & Addax Rally
You don't just show up at the world's toughest rally; you earn your way there. Before heading to the start line in January 2027, the MACBOR Team is taking on two ultimate desert proving grounds in Morocco.
The journey begins this weekend at the 1000 Dunas Rally 2026, tackling six demanding stages between Fes and Merzouga. Right after, Gerard Farrés and the team will line up for the Addax Rally (October 25–30) in the Erg Chebbi dunes to fine-tune navigation and test our setup in real-world conditions.
